Scrubber for purification of exhaust gases from bleaching, up to 95% reduction of active chlorine.
The Bleach Plant Scrubber is designed as a one or two step scrubber, using EOP filtrate and/or alkaline sulphite solution – formed by NaOH and SO2.
The scrubber consist of a numbers of liquid redistributing trays – that secure a optimum of contact between gas and liquid.
Vent gas from Bleach plant enters the scrubber in the bottom and flows upwards through thousands of liquid shower jets – created by the re-distribution trays.
The scrubber shell is manufactured in FRP and the redistributing trays from CPVC, Titanium or SMO 254.
